Our Collective Creativity Program for Helping Professionals
If you're a therapist, teacher, or health professional, you know the deep satisfaction that comes from making a difference in people's lives. Your work is so important.
But if you're reading this, you might also recognise the other side of this type of work:
The exhaustion that comes from working within systems that demand more than is sustainable
The depletion that can creep in when you're always focused on others' needs
The disconnection from the playful, creative parts of yourself that once brought you joy
The feeling that you've lost touch with who you are beyond your professional role
You're not alone in this. And, importantly, it isn't your fault.
The systems we work within weren't designed for us or for those we serve. The pressure to constantly give, achieve, and perform can leave us feeling like we're running on empty, even when we are passionate about what we do.
But what if there were another way?
Imagine reconnecting with the playful, creative and curious parts of yourself that drew you to helping work in the first place.
Imagine exploring practices that are not only reflective but are designed to be restorative, inspire you, remind you of your inner wisdom and connect you with others.
This isn't about adding another task to your already full life. This is about remembering who you are beneath all the roles you play, supporting your wellbeing and reclaiming your creative energy.
An 8-session program specifically designed for those who are ready to explore how to break free from depletion and reconnect with their creative, playful selves. It aims to support your collective well-being through creative, compassionate, mindful and reflective practices.
This program was created by Emily Wilkinson, an experienced facilitator, coach, psychologist, and poet. Emily has lived experience of maintaining her creativity within demanding professional contexts. Emily brings together evidence-based practices with creative and contemplative traditions often marginalised in Western professional settings.
Unlike traditional professional development that focuses on doing more or being better at our jobs, The Flourishing Way is about caring for and reconnecting with ourselves and one another. It acknowledges that the depletion and exhaustion you might be experiencing isn't a personal failing; it's an understandable response to systemic pressures and working in demanding, heart-led roles.
This collective experience offers:

This Program Is Designed For You If You...
Work in a profession or role that involves helping, leading or supporting others (e.g. healthcare, therapy, teaching)
Want to reconnect with the playful, creative parts of yourself
Want to explore creativity but feel intimidated or "not artistic or creative enough"
Seek a supportive community of like-minded professionals
Are ready to prioritise your wellbeing and show care towards one another
Want practical tools grounded in compassion, mindfulness and contemplative traditions
Reconnecting with creativity isn't always easy. Self-doubts and fears often arise when we try something new, or when we return to practices that the dominant culture tells us are "unproductive". The inner critic might get loud. And you might feel silly or uncertain, especially at first. This is completely understandable.
These feelings don't mean you're doing it wrong or that creativity isn't for you. They're simply part of the process of returning to something important. In our group, we hold space for all of this and treat ourselves and each other with compassion. It’s also important to remember that you don't need to be "good" at creativity to benefit from this program. Your willingness to explore is enough.

Frequently Asked Questions
Absolutely. This program is designed for people who believe they're "not creative." We start with the understanding that creativity is a natural human capacity that might just need some gentle reawakening. However, if you already have some creative practices in place, this program can provide an opportunity to deepen your practice.
The opposite. This program is designed to be restorative rather than depleting. It supports well-being through creative and reflective practices. All home practices are optional, flexible, and designed to fit into your life in sustainable ways.
Every session is recorded, so you can participate on your own schedule. The community and live interaction are valuable, but we know life happens! If you have a question but won't be able to attend live, you are welcome to email it to me, and I will discuss it during the session, so that you can watch it back when you are ready. I am also happy to answer questions via email along the way.

Basic supplies are recommended (a notebook and pen, as well as either crayons, markers or coloured pencils) but nothing expensive or specialised. We focus on accessible materials and simple practices. However, if you would like to invest in additional supplies, you are always welcome to do that.
